MOSQUE PARTIAL CLOSURE AND OTHER ACTIVITIES

MOSQUE PARTIAL CLOSURE AND OTHER ACTIVITIES

WEDNESDAY 04 NOVEMBER 2020

Cambridge Central Mosque will be suspending all congregational prayers but will be open for individual prayer only from Thursday 5th November until further notice, as per the new government imposed COVID-19 lockdown restrictions. Funeral prayers are permitted, however all other services will be suspended. Regretfully the Islamic Garden will also be closed until further notice.

There will be no Jum’a prayer and strictly no congregational (Jama’at) prayers during the day. Jama’at prayers amongst individual worshippers are not permitted as per government restrictions.

The mosque will be open for individual prayers in the following hours:

6:00 am – 6:30 am

12:00 pm – 20:00 pm

The mosque will be closed outside of these times.

We kindly remind everyone of the government’s restrictions under the lockdown that individuals should only travel if it is essential. This means that the mosque remains closed for visits and tours until further notice.
