The Arabic within the beautifully bound leather effect & heavy duty clasp cover is calligraphed in Naskh script by grand master calligrapher, Hüseyin Kutlu, who is also the calligrapher for the Cambridge Central Mosque’s majestic roundels and mihrab.

Naskh is a cursive, proportional script, first developed in the 10th century by the Abbasid vizier and calligrapher Ibn Muqlah (886-940), and later perfected by Ibn al-Bawwab (d. 1022), the master calligrapher who continued his tradition.
