Adult Tilawat Teacher
Reports to: Head Imam
Salary: £20/hour
Location: Cambridge Central Mosque
Start Date: September/October
The Mosque runs an adult Tilawat course. It is 30 weeks long, with each session involving 45 minutes of theory and 45-60 minutes of practice in small groups. We are looking for people with Ijaza in Hafs ‘an Asim to help with the practice section. The men’s classes are Friday evenings, and the women’s will be set based on the availability of teachers.
